 | Act
as the lead for all field issues for assigned projects

 | Take
the lead role for Field Modification installations and tracking for projects
assigned

 | Work
with customers on site to resolve technical issues

 | Recognize
and develop sales opportunities

 | Perform
liaison function between the customer and Knorr Engineering and Management
|
 | Provide
Customer & Knorr personnel training where applicable
|
 | Fill
in for other field technicians as required (could be locations other than
New York City)
|
 | Support
Knorr’s initiatives in the Eastern United States
|
 | Minimum 2 years experience in rail braking systems, 4 years
preferred
|
 | Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
|
 | Must be familiar with rail car wiring and general industry
standards
|
 | Strong mechanical aptitude
|
 | Understanding of engineering practices and
electrical/electronic equipment
|
 | Excellent troubleshooting skills
|
 | Strong computer skills
|
 | Very good oral and written communication skills
|
 | Effective organizational skills
|
 | Work with little supervision
|
 | Able to handle several jobs at one time
|
 | 75% - 100% travel, mostly New York City
|
 | Maintain valid drivers license
|
 | Maintain good credit rating
|
